I am 40 years old and I believe I just ate THE BEST bacon cheeseburger I have ever had! The service is awesome and the prices are competitive, especially for the high quality of food. I definitely recommend stopping in for lunch when you can!
I'm from Texas, passing thru this small town as truckers off the beaten path. CATFISH basket in Illinois??? Really great catfish basket. I hate raw onions, but I tried it on the side with the homemade hush puppies and fish...yum! Great friendly service a plus ! They have 2 picnic tables outside, first come first seated lol, ever decide to take the off beaten path, mounds tx Lunchbox is the place to eat. Because it's freshly made, make sure your not in a rush, good food takes time.
I do think the cooks should start wearing hair nets.

I absolutely love this place and the people who run it. They are amazing. Best food around. They also have the best Barg's Rootbeer from anywhere.
Pizza sticks be a little over cooked.
I eat here often, everything on the menu is good and reasonably priced, and the service is exelant. I believe the ownership should consider the lack of seating issue more.
I had a hair on my burger but the burgers so good I ripped that piece off and ate the rest.
